It depends on whom you ask. “People have realized that the distribution of photography is a very lucrative place to be,” said Kenneth F. Irby, visual journalism group leader at the Poynter Institute, a journalism center in St. Petersburg, Fla. “It’s not necessarily wrong if Getty can maintain its journalistic integrity. At this point, it’s too early to say.”
