Boston.com has hit a milestone: 1 million registered users. According to parent New York Times Co. executive director of public relations Toby Usnik, registrations break down like this:

  • 67 percent reside in New England.
  • 54 percent are age 25-44.
  • 29 percent have a household income greater than $100,000.

The website began requiring user registration last April.
