Sally Greene, an attorney here Chapel Hill, North Carolina, uncovered an interesting “coincidence” when using Google to track down a quote by Hegel. Her discovery ultimately resulted in the following headline in the Chronicle of Higher Education:

“Missouri Dean Appears to Have Plagiarized Commencement Speech by Cornel West.”
The Chronicle article is — unfortunately — behind a subscription wall, but Greene provides some good insight into the discovery of the speech that history professor and dean Bryan LeBeau not only delivered, but also published in a newsletter and online. (Thanks to my colleague Paul Jones for pointing me to this one!)
