Did you recently publish — or are you just about to publish — a great multimedia news feature You might want enter it in the SND.ies — the Society for News Design’s annual multimedia competition. Any multimedia story that first went online between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007 is eligible.

Deadline: Entries must be received by midnight on July 6. You can register online. The entry fee is $25, with discounts for SND members and students. The judges are some of the leaders and innovators in the field of multimedia design.

Here’s one distinct advantage of the SND.ies: Whether you win or lose, by entering you will receive a confidential e-mail with the judges’ commentary on your work.
