Mobile Behavior
Photographer Dennis Rito has created a photo gallery of images called UNLIMITXT. The photographs of people texting around the world highlight the intensity of concentration on individual faces. A number of images come from the Philippines, where 400 million text messages are sent each day. As the Mobile Behavior blog points out, “Affordability and convenience has fueled the success of SMS, and it is used widely in the richest and poorest of nations.” As content providers, we need to be sure that in the rush to be on the latest platform, we don’t forget that the simple things can be incredibly engaging.
