Times ombud Arthur Brisbane notes that the Times has yet to run a “significant story” about the paper’s pay model plans. “The Times should commit the media team to covering The Times itself more aggressively,” he writes. “This would yield stories that readers want to read and blunt criticism that, when it comes to covering itself, The Times has a blind spot.”
