Jerry Baxter, a judge for the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, lifted an order Monday that barred media outlets from publishing a story about a trial in which Atlanta Public Schools employees are accused of cheating on standardized tests.

The court on Friday “granted a request…by District Attorney Paul Howard, who asked the court to ensure that ‘the jurors are not exposed to this news story,'” Bill Rankin reports in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The story is about a witness who “said he received an anonymous threat.”

The AJC was planning to ask the judge to lift the order on the story, which WAGA-TV had and the AJC says it confirmed, but Baxter “issued his ruling before news media lawyers made their arguments, saying he realized the order he signed Friday was in error,” Rankin reports.
