More than 36,000 will race in the Boston Marathon, which begins Monday morning. The Associated Press’ Boston bureau chief, Bill Kole, will be running and tweeting each mile. The AP also has a live blog of the marathon. Here are some other journalists who are running. Tweet me @kristenhare or email me @khare@poynter.org, if you know of more.

NBC News’ Natalie Morales:

Elizabeth Comeau, social media marketing with Boston.com, the Boston Glove and Radio BDC:

Noah Pransky, a reporter for WTSP 10 in Tampa, Fla.:

Dan Nephin, a reporter with Lancaster Newspapers:

Google’s Matt Cutts is running, too. Cutts is an engineer, but he has written advice to people starting in the field, once tried going without news for a month and used to have a foundation that donated to press organizations, including Poynter.

Correction: This post originally misspelled Bill Kole’s last name.
