Today’s front page of the day comes from the Omaha (Nebraska) World-Herald. On Tuesday, the World-Herald looked at drone regulation around the country and how Nebraska hasn’t yet passed legislation regulating drones. On Monday, the FAA announced that drones between .55 pounds and 50 pounds must be registered by early next year, Ben Popper reported for The Verge.

Several other newspapers also led with drones and news of the registration requirement:
In February, Poynter’s Al Tompkins wrote about “What the FAA’s newly proposed drone rules mean to journalists,” and in May, Tompkins wrote about networks using drones to cover earthquakes in Nepal.
