Here’s the front page of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on the one year anniversary of Michael Brown’s death and on the day after Brown’s death one year ago (via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch):

While #Ferguson lit up the Internet on August 9, 2014 and beyond, it took awhile for the story to make front pages around the rest of the country. This front is from Monday, August 11, 2014.

By August 15, 2014, the story went international:

While the story stayed in the news in St. Louis and nationally, Brown’s funeral made front pages around the country again on August 26, 2014.

Again, Ferguson stayed on the front often in St. Louis through the fall, but it returned nationally on November 25, 2014, after the decision by the grand jury not to indict Police Officer Darren Wilson in Brown’s death.

For the one year anniversary, the Post-Dispatch devoted the front and space inside to revisiting what happened that day one year ago and what has happened in St. Louis since. Here is A4, A8, A9 and A10.
