When I emailed local newspaper editors Monday to see if they’d send me Wednesday front pages, several warned that because of early deadlines and a focus on digital, those fronts might not be as historic as they’ve been in the past.

Instead, front pages around the United States and the world are perfectly in sync with a country anxiously waiting the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Here’s a collection of front pages, via Newseum, starting with the United States.
