Through this course, you’ll gain insights into your editing style to help you reflect on your strengths and how you can grow as you nurture connections with colleagues at every step of the editorial process.

This asynchronous course takes about two hours to complete. 

It consists of readings, videos and activities designed to improve your editing skills.

You can go at your own pace. Your progress will be recorded.

The course culminates in a 10-question quiz. To pass, you must achieve a score of 80% or better (eight or more correct answers). You must complete the quiz in one sitting. You cannot pause or come back to it, but there is no time limit on it and you can take it as many times as needed to pass.

This course is part of the Poynter ACES Advanced Certificate in Editing. While the Introductory and Intermediate certificates are not prerequisites, it is recommended that you complete them before you start the Advanced Certificate.

You can take this course independently, without enrolling in the Advanced Certificate learning path.
